SENSOR SWABS are designed for cleaning CCD chips and other delicate or hard to reach optical and imaging surfaces. Clean room manufactured and sealed, these swabs are the ultimate in purity.  SENSOR SWABS are available in three different sizes. 

 

How to use SENSOR SWABS with ECLIPSE?

Please review your camera’s manual to learn how to expose the sensor. 
After you review the manual, dispense several drops of ECLIPSE Optic Cleaning Fluid onto a new SENSOR SWAB*.  With one side of the swab, firmly drag it across the sensor.  Repeat in the opposite direction using the clean side of the swab.  Please discard swab after use.  Repeat if necessary with a new swab.  Release camera shutter and replace lens. 
 

*Do not remove the swabs from plastic bag until you are ready to use them.  Dirt on the swab can scratch the sensor, so always remember to leave in plastic bag and immediately discard swab after use. 

Do not remove the rubber band and/or swab material from the SENSOR SWAB. 

 

Caution: Only ECLIPSE Optic Cleaning Fluid may be used to clean traditional CCD, CMOS and Tin Oxide sensors. 

NOTE:  The use of zoom lenses or bellows will increase the amount of contaminants within the sensor area and more frequent cleaning may be needed.

 

When used as directed SENSOR SWAB is easy and safe to use and yields excellent results!
